It's all OKAY!
I'm a bad big sister. If you doubt me, ask the people I've considered little brothers and sisters over the years. I think I have trouble seeing the way that other people see the world.
So, okay, I stayed up all night Saturday and pulled some stuff for marketing out of my ass. Woo! Actually, I think it turned out pretty well if I did what we were supposed to do. He gave us a description of what to write that was about three sentences long with no word limit. So I have no idea if I did the right thing. It looks kind of cool, though. My end product. Only I didn't cite anything except the case study that we HAD to look at and the current website for the company that case study was for, plus a note that I checked the reading we had to do. It was a case analysis, so I doubt there will be trouble, but oh well.
I got two things on my last shopping trip that I wasn't expecting to get. #1 is a rosemary plant! It hasn't got a name yet, but I've put it in my window, and it's getting sunlight as we speak. I love plants really. And secondly is a membership with Amnesty International. I got sold on the idea when someone captured me on the street and talked at me for a while. I'll research into it and see if I still want to be a member, but yeah.
Oh, also, I'm an ALA member. SCORE. For those of you not in library school, this means I've joined the giant librarian union thing. I belong to the Public Librarian and Freedom to Read sections of that, too. I'd like to join the young adult section, but it was too expensive for now.
I had a dream last night that I was trapped in an evil mine with people. It was like, this whole underground slave mine city and I was there with Andre the giant and some other guy who was NOT Mandy Patinkin. It might have been Nate. But yeah. Underground mine slaves. It was creepy. It comes to me that I've had one other dream of an underground city. that was creepy, but it became sort of a cool short story. I wonder if I still have what I wrote down...
I had the best night last night! I watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, ate chocolate, and had tea. <3 Add reading a cute Oofuri dj to that, and I had a wonderful evening. I'm gonna try to set up a moodtheme and make new icons for myself soon... for lj, I mean. I think I'm going to go with one icon per fandom or something ridiculous like that.
