So... yes... updates. Um....
I got a job with a company called "Two Paws Up" and they do pet sitting- rather obviously. The doggies I am starting out with are a pair of bearded collie mixes and they're SO cute.
First time I went there, though, I had a problem opening the front door. Like I stood there for about half an hour trying to get it open. The lock was really sticky. So finally Dad came out and helped me with some WD40. And then someone called the police because... well of course we were trying to break in! ... and yeah... I got the whole "good cop, bad cop" thing done to me. u_u Bad cop scared me.
Anyway, so now it's all okay I think. I'm just taking care of the doggies. They're really sweet- Riley likes to lick my face all over for like... five minutes straight at a time. Daisy likes to play, so she'll get down with her butt in the air and growl and then pounce on Riley. I also think they have kind of bad depth perception, because they tried to chase a flying goose.
In other news... I got a beta fish. My mom goes "I have something for you! Open the paper bag!" So I open the bag, thinking it's like... feta or something .... and it was something dark in a little plastic container. At first, I thought it was a single anchovy. Like Mom thought it was great to get me one anchovy. ^_^;; And then it wiggled, and for half a second, I truly believed she had bought me an alien parasite to take over my brain. But it was just a beta fishie. Though... she had forgotten to buy a tank, plants for the tank, and rocks for the bottom. -_- But he's in a vase now, with some marbles at the bottom. His name is Teal'c because I'm obsessed with Stargate and because he's that color.
It was probably the worst Mother's Day ever, too. Because I barely saw my own mother. She went to her parents' house and then to visit my cousin Michael, who is in the hospital due to an ATV accident. I probably saw her for a total of half an hour yesterday.
Well, me and Teal'c are going to have our breakfast, so farewell.
