it hurts me that the only person who would get that doesn't even know what livejournal is.
anyway... london is surreal. amazing. i can't help but thinking when i am in the tube, however, that 1/2 the population of this city once died of the black death. it is stifling hot, no rain and the europeans universally do not believe in air conditioning. being over here has been strange and yet i feel like i've done in 3 weeks what it has taken me 21 years to even begin to know i had to do. i miss my friends though. i just want everyone to come over for a day or two, take it all in and then leave. someone should win the lottery and then fly everyone over here. my hostel kind of sucks. i miss my buddies from rome. even though i got mad bed bugs, i could not have asked for a better time. oh london.
