What happens when you shop vegetables by what's priced down. I've never cooked with white or red cabbage before, so this will be interesting. Too bad I just threw out all those the big twist-off glass jars because I hadn't used them in for ever.
Ehm. Well. Basically it's a yeast dough for making pancakes. I added banana, because it's a good stand-in for oil, jam, because I have way too much of it so I figured, use it for sweetening, acorn flour which I made last fall (it tastes interesting but makes the dough darker), cinnamon (because banana) and a nutmeg seasoning I was foolish enough to by which is about 95% gluten and 5% nutmeg extract. Stupid me.
Tasted okay, but next time I'll use the jam as a topping.
