Pushing Daisies, how I do love thee!

Oh my God, you guys, this episode had a sword fight! With dramatic stagey lighting! And Ned wanted to be a Jedi! And that speech he made about choices! (See icon.) *dies*

I love this show so much. It's just the right kind of quirky. Chuck asking if dying has made her morbid. Olive holding her boobs as she ran down the stairs at the Aunt's house. The not-adopted Chinese Civil War heir. The beaver t-shirt that only Chuck and Ned were oblivious about! Vermouth reminds Aunt Lily of her mother! And that's just what comes to mind in the first ten seconds.

The whole thing with the beaver t-shirt, and their total naivety (even now) where this is concerned highlights this sort of courtly love thing they have going on. They can't touch, and despite regularly talking to really gruesome dead people they are both so innocent. And good lord, the thing with the plastic wrap is...deliciously kinky.

I cannot even begin to be coherent about my love for this show. Please, America, continue to watch this show. How could anyone not see it's awesomeness? It had a sword fight. And last week, I thought they'd cut the musical number short, but no. They rode that train all the way to the station.

As a side note to both of my new Pushing Daisies icons, the good people at Pushing-Daisies.com are scary-fast about updating their episode image galleries.

On another note: Hannelore's problems are different from other people's problems.

Also, my dad bought me a fancy stereo and speakers for my new car. I can hook it right up to my iPod! It sounds so good!
