Wolverine gets a green star. Not a red star, nor a coveted gold star, but a green star. It was a somewhat well orchestrated film, but ultimately, the acting and the plot elements didn't form a very cohesive whole. Mainly, I would say the issue at hand is that they took several elements from the comics and tried to implement them faithfully, but it didn't work in the cinematic medium. There were also other elements that they decided to rework entirely, much to the detriment of the film. To its credit, it's an entertaining action film--definitely successful in that capacity. Also, the inclusion of Deadpool--even if somewhat minor--worked to its advantage.
There is talk of a Deadpool spinoff in the works. I still have high hopes for Captain America: The First Avenger, especially if Jon Favreau has indeed signed up to direct.
That's all really.
I had a bit of inspiration while I was working on some Phoenix revisions. The storyline will remain much the same, but the character of Sara will be somewhat heavily modified--just in age, really, making her somewhat older. The story picks up when Sara and Jaques are about to part ways when Sara is accepted to the Forum Academy in Faylin. I prefer to say little, as it's still in rewriting, but yes, it's encouraging to feel like part of your story that was giving you issues is starting to make sense.
