Geez, Romania, the least you could do is muster a bit of excitement about medalling in the Olympics, you know? A bronze in women's eights is nothing to sneeze at, even if you've won gold a couple times before.
Of course, our girls won the gold.
Men took third, Canada won by most of a length.
I also was happy to see China's women's quad win gold. They were just ecstatic.
Now they're being re-broadcast on TV, with commentary. I suppose I should start writing. I couldn't finish last night- ran out of steam and am running on the assurance that the final few details will be easy to wrap up.
Aw, the Dutch (2nd in women's) tossed their coxswain!
I miss this stuff.
