internet is still spotty, the microphone on my skype headset is finicky about positioning, i'm out of phone credit and vodafone's website is down so I can't send webtexts... and when I wanted to go for the IOU thing (they take 2 euro out of your next topup, plus 15c for the courtesy) it tells me I haven't topped up in more than 3 months, which is, how you say, wrong.
Anyway, I have a cover for this afternoon- elementary students. I'm nervous just because I know I've had problems with speaking too fast, and because I've taught elementary exactly once (and that was not my best experience). Differences between then and now: then I had to choose something not in the book, while this time I'll have an entire PowerPoint with stages and timing. Then was at IH, this time at Abbey. So I'm not entirely freaked. Just annoyed that TCD doesn't pay me for my May invigilating until the last [day] of June, and Seamus wants his rent money this weekend, which comes before the last of June. Candice will be giving me her deposit, which will get most of it, but I'm going to ask Abbey for a pay advance. Karolina's done it, and DoS Joanna's much more receptive to these sorts of things than ADoS Jola.
off to it, then. I'd like to get there with a little more than half an hour to prepare.
