Golden Compass, you let me down.
Alon and I had an argument.
I have laundry to do.
i'm going to visit natalie in london tonight, until monday, and things have been peachy toasty lovely with avi for the past two weeks. gorgeous. also a nice night with a few of the ling crowd (considering the condition i was in yesterday morning, there was no drinking for me). talked much to beibhinn, lindsay, karolina, colin.
aunt jeanne gave me The Dark Crystal for chanukah! ont laura, as can be expected, gave me a fantastic package full of small and thoughtful lovelies (and a gift certificate i'll use in the states, as it's in dollars). I'll plan to call all the fam from London. maybe I can convince Natalie to download skype (she's been considering it already), then sign in with my account.
unfortunately, the only pictures will be those taken with my phone or with natalie's camera, as my camera lens cover is somehow broken. My mechanical engineer of a boyfriend is going to look at it next week.
anyway.... things i will love at home:
odwalla, chipotle, denny's, mexican food, cats, family, friends, driving, paying less for hair products, sunshine, and my hair taking SO MUCH LESS time to dry.
things i will miss for three weeks:
boyfriend, walking everywhere, big bed, living in a dorm (really, it's great simply because everyone's surrounded by students), avi, pubs, ling people, mccambridge, and of course missing avi's company christmas party that happens like 12 hours after i leave.
things to bring back:
turkey bacon (put in the deep freezer before i go, wrapped in something thermal on the flight back), honey roasted peanuts, three or four different hair products, warmer shirts that are of different colors, my long wool coat, new shoes, and maybe some kosher food, software for my phone
