taking a break or my brain will rip itself to shreds
i'm so intimidated by syntax right now
there are semantics terms all over it and around it and in it. it's inundated with semantics, and it's not going to get easier until it's over.
on the other hand, it's an improvement that i started the assignment at 7 tonight rather than, you know, 11 tomorrow morning.... especially considering the level of thinking this damn assignment is requiring.
on the plus side, avi and rachel and i went to Burritos and Blues in ranelagh today, and it was tasty -- no Chipotle, but decent. corn chips were freshly fried, but the guac needs help.
thirdly, jsoc committee meeting today. I'm excited to help direct JSoc's trajectory for the next year. It ought to be good fun, working with these guys. Klezmer gig in a fortnight! I get to make up the posters.
fourth, rowing this morning! Andrew put some kind of ultra-waterproof (paper-like?) adhesive patch thing on the hole in the hull. I hope it gets better attention before the race. Anyway, though, the boat's starting to listen to my slide control -- YES!
