Huzzah! I'll learn to teach english this month! It does take me out of the running for a $15-an-hour temp job, but ah well. Off to the ADD counselors.
EDIT: last night I dreamed about Gramps. I dreamed that he was alive and very, very well! He had all his speech capacities back and only struggled a little with mobility. When I complimented this, he gave a huge grin and said it was all thanks to his doctor and changes in his diet.
On the drive home, we passed Trader Joe's employees in short, backless orange dresses and roller skates. They were roller-skating home. I decided based on the outfits that I'd never work there.
Then I dreamed something about marrying nanerean, despite all impediments (the real-life ones were just as present in the dream). Finally, our parents had to consent to the marriage, and it was for some reason or other besides romantic love but it had to be done.
Reminds me of Tiago, from work at the deli. He and his boyfriend are each going to marry half of a lesbian couple they know so the two of them can get citizenship and all four can live together for three years -- after which time the Brazilian boys are US citizens, and all four can divorce the opposite-sex spouse and marry the same-sex one. Awesomest plan ever!
