anyway, my room is mostly clean, all my college things put away, thrown away, or stored. a little more time tomorrow for the desk and closet, but after today I think things can become much more gradual. I'm gonna go join the fam + Renee; they're watching the tape Ont Laura made of our CD release party.
Cairo Boy arrives tomorrow at midnight. Clay leaves Monday at noon.
Last night, Clay and I saw a friend's a cappella show at DU. The Idiosingcrasies were solid. I wanted their bass for my very own. Their guest group, Plumbers of Rome, was a three-guy gig. Three-man a cappella is a new sensation for me, and though a couple of songs sounded hollow, most of it was just a unique and not unenjoyable sound.
After the show, we saw Pirates 3. No spoilers here; all I'll say is that we were entertained. We also ate at Ted's Montana Grill, where I had the privileges of Sally's company, bison short ribs, and Buffalo Gold beer. Hello, New Favorite! It's very light and fruity.
The new hole is very much less red (although I don't like to show it off as much these days; it's been two weeks since consistent workouts and I can feel it). I think (hope/pray) that the cough is going away, too.
last night I dreamed about Peter from Dublin. I was out with a friend, and it got late. He decided to make his way back to the dorm(? anyway, wherever we were sleeping), but I thought it was too far, so I snuck into Peter's house and then, the next morning, tried to convince his whole family I belonged there. I think Peter was the most creeped out.
