so were the pieces, in fact -- the lineup started to feel good, if splashier than hell. I walked off of the dock with one hamstring and one hip flexor dry. Seriously.
the sunrise was also the most rewarding we've seen this season: a vision of lavender, mauve, periwinkle, pink, violet, and magenta. For a full five minutes while we were getting off the docks, we marveled at the developing color shifts.
the world still feels swishy, like I'm on a boat in a wake, so I'm taking a shower and then hitting the sack for an hour.
in today's NY Times: the death of Kurt Vonnegut, and the snipe war to the extreme of Dershowitz and Finkelstein. Boys, this is verkakte.
