I KNEW HIRO'S DAD RAN THE HEROES THING!! from the moment we knew he was rich and powerful I knew he was in on this heroes thing. I was even half-expecting him to be Linderman. but he's not.
SIMONE IS NOT DEAD!! Does this mean Peter healed her, or she is a hero, or she was wearing a bulletproof vest.... I'm beginning to wonder, though, if Heroes dead is going to come to equal Farscape dead.
If Simone is a hero, we have to assume (based on what the show's already given us) that her power is not going to be a repeat of anyone else's. Therefore she's not a quick healer like Claire. We saw the bullets hit her, so she can't have stopped them (anyway, telekinesis and stopping time are already taken).
the new girl at Primatech, is she the Wireless one?
katancelt says she looks like Eden, but not enough so, I think.
katancelt and I talked just minutes after the episode ended. She cracks me up so much with quotes like "so long as they keep torturing their main characters, i'm happy".
okay, so what the crap is up with Claude's building being where they all hang out with baby Claire? and did they know Hiro was going to manifest? Is he Takei's biological son? Is Takei a hero? and like, how come THEY are in everything? DId they know that Claire's biological mom started the fire? What?
OMG, edit (11:17pm tuesday) ---- SIMONE'S DAD owns that building. which means she is in on all of this somehow. holy crap. she is totally in on all of this. holy crap!
Does anyone else think that Ted bears a certain resemblance to the actor who plays the Geico caveman? And speaking of Ted, when will he learn to calm the fuck down? Don't all the Bennets have radiation poisoning from how angry he kept getting? And how creepy was burned-up Claire? Does she feel pain when she gets all hurt? I'm glad Parkman met up with Claire, because if all he had was Ted, Ted would definitely drive Matt over the edge.
I am not looking forward to the moment Mohinder realizes he's with Sylar -- although it was pretty awesome to see Sylar all in pain with the superhuman hearing. Nice going. At some point he's gotta snap -- be it from acting like crazy naif guy or because all his damn powers are going to overwhelm him.
And finally.....
Mr. Bennet. OMG.
I cried when he said goodbye to Claire. The tears, they ran down my face. I didn't think I was so attached to him, but it turns out I was. I wonder what'll happen.... and where the Haitian will take Claire. Also wondering about the Petrellis.
katancelt: i hope he like, goes into a television protection program and ends up on like, veronica mars or something
me: hahaha
me: television protection?
kat: yeah, like TV characters can get new identities and go onto different shows
me: mmmmmm
me: sounds fun
kat: like a witness protection program for fictional characters.
kat: well, and so i can satisfy my love of crossovers without having to resort to fanfic
thus ends today's ranting.
ETA, tuesday morning (haven't posted yet... oops):
last night I dreamed Jim Creeggan of BNL had killed himself because he was so depressed.
then I traveled back in time and put myself in the scene. They were in a hotel room, all five of them plus me and another person. He inhaled flour and cigarette smoke and water and did himself in... by the time I left the dream, he was white as a sheet and struggling to take in every breath. The ambulance we'd called was half an hour later than they said they'd be and every time there was a knock on the door it'd be someone with a bucket of ice or a neighbor returning the soap. Yes, returning the soap.
I also dreamed of chocolate truffles, ellipticals and running. Kiddie-style driving rides where you stick in a penny and it moves... but in a Land Rover and for adults.
Docks, water, a ghost of a black girl whose skin was now white who was obligated to haunt anyone who used the docks. Rowing in Hudsons. A queen or princess who insisted on hanging beads (it was something every girl in the area did during spring) at either end of the area possible or right in the middle. it was an OCD thing.
