walk to me talk to me

thursday is now forecast to be SEVENTY degrees. today was cloudy, with a few minutes of mist, but nothing of the double rainstorm that accuweather predicted.

stroked the eight with sara b and six novice girls. no ratio. sharon's cox box broke so she had to yell and bow was all bitching how they couldn't hear her. we lost the stroke rate magnet from the bottom of my seat mid-row. on the plus side, her docking was PIMP. I have three feathering blisters from when I couldn't get my oar off the water yesterday afternoon. but I am so glad we're back on the water again! and that it's SO warm! also, I love sweet tea.

also? OMG, HEROES, WHAT ARE YOU DOING? I don't think I've ever had to do this before.... How the shit could you KILL SIMONE?! Can Peter use his (Claire's) regeneration on someone else? I read in a TV Guide or something that a character was going to die, but honestly I thought it was Hiro because of the way the producer kept talking about how they're going to play with time so the person's really not dead.
Also, splitting up Hiro and Ando is both heart-wrenching and ridiculously bad news. Ando was just getting into the hero mindset and, like any good melodrama, Hiro had to go flip out on him. Besides, Hiro is not going to be anywhere near as funny without Ando around, and that's one of the reasons we love him so much.
things I'm not going to dwell on, but just mention: what is going to happen to the invisible guy, Claire's mom, AND HOLY SHIT SYLAR IS TRAVELING WITH MOHINDER AND MURDERING EVERYONE and Mohinder is just not going to start suspecting Sylar... ever.
I'm pumped for next week.

I had the best strawberry I've had in a couple months with lunch today. It was sweet and flavorful. Also, I've found that I like the flavor of reduced-fat Wheat Thins better than regular.

time fo' a nap. tomorrow I'll need to start working on stuff like stats, arranging, and IS readings. I printed between one and two hundred pages from Multilingual Matters that are going to be exciting to read. they're all about broadcasting in Irish and Breton.
