bad things: this snow probably prevents a visit to Boulder (yeah, I'm not going -- by choice as well as by maternal mandate). I wanted so much to see Daniel and to see nanerean's fashion show. Mom says they've cancelled Jeffco schools for today and tomorrow. (This, O out-of-state droogs, is a Big Deal. they don't cancel schools in our state. In case you were under any misimpressions, we all do own snowplows which our 10-year-olds drive to school. Colorado cancels school as often as Brandeis cancels school.) Also, I have a bruise and even a blister on my ankle from where my crew anklet (which has been doubleknotted 'round my ankle for two summers, two falls, one and a half winters and a spring) was smashed up against my ankle by the ski boots all morning.
I dreamed that grinningjim got mad at me and told me to go die, so I made an appointment to be hanged. Just before it happened, he told me he hadn't been serious, of course.
and then I dreamed of salmon sashimi and of a lion king whose death was faked. and now I want salmon sashimi.
