so, no Pottering ended up happening. It makes me sad, but in exchange there was much quality time spent with ladynomi, pallasrosalind, efg, and my wife. It's probably for the best, because it means I can do work instead, but I was looking forward to it. Tonight there'll be a TCFI meeting, and then study for tomorrow morning's ling exam.
It's true, though: I was so motivated to study over at their grad, but in my own room I can't bring myself to do anything. With their permission, I'll probably go back there pretty soon. Read some more Borderliners and then head over to study. What is the difference in environment?
I also can't go to Jonathan Coulton's evening show on Tuesday, because I'm going to be out partying with slythwitch at that time. Maybe I'll try to finagle the afternoon show. Because I really do want to do something concerty soon.
