avocados don't freeze well
rather, I'm sure they freeze just fine; it's the defrosting that kills them. I figured this might happen, but it was going to go bad anyway over Tday break whether I let it sit out or tried to preserve it.
just back from the haitch'ford, I now have Silk nog, whiskey, Nutella, one batch of storebought TCFI bake sale goodies and mix to make the other batch. And lots of black tea (that I had before). I wonder how quickly the Dave paper can be finished with said provisions. (CVS still does not have my birth control like they said they would today. girl said the company was all on backorder, and I have to get it tomorrow. Can anyone drive me to CVS tomorrow after 2?)
And, Henrietta said she'd write my letters of rec. I just need to get all my stuff written and then emailed to her and Máire. It'll be done Friday, because tomorrow is going to be insane, caffeinated and full of crack. Another plus of today, though: I earned $25 doing two studies. Friday's payday for Murray's, and I'll get all $40 for the sessions I've done over the past 2 weeks; today I did a fifteen-buck one-time one-hour one whose objective, I learned afterwards, was to see if extroverts remembered faces associated with positive details and introverts the opposite. (they showed me faces associated with sentences that I tried to learn, then had me associate some of the known and some unknown faces with positive-negative-neutral gut reactions based on the sentences I remembered.) And I did gift shopping at the Fair Trade Fair (although they sold the gorgeous barely-broken teapot I wanted to claim and I can't find it online, though I did find the most gorgeous tealight holder ever... who wants to blow $24 on me this holiday season?). Ellen gave me this and tomorrow morning off. And I talked with the AdLit TA, who likes the topic I figured out for my second paper. Finally, I'm pulling a 4k on Monday for the last team workout of the (calendar) year.
TCFI's semester show is TOMORROW, thursday november 30th, at 7:30pm in upstairs sherman!
