(no subject)
Mela = awesome. Babson Bhangra especially blew me away. And it was my first official wife date!
Indian food afterwards = also awesome. And then lucky13horizons and I were leeched by an ex-prefrosh. The only thing i remember about this kid is that he hung around in our room for a while and then left in search of parties (which last night he denied, claiming it was just looking for people to talk to). Anyway, lucky13horizons put it best, saying "he... didn't belong." He just kinda sat at the same table and ate at the same time as we did and made us feel uncomfortable about talking candidly.
After that, I bummed around with lucky13horizons, meeting Josh G and, after much indecision and going to different places, the three of us ended up in her room (and not at Walden Pond watching a meteor shower, because it was cloudy) talking for hours.
Then I came home and cut open a perfect avocado. Sometimes there's no better end to a night.
I won't be getting much sleep tonight. I need to write emails and pack and clean my room. I"m leaving for home tomorrow night. newmini, stop having shows when I can't see them! I'm beginning to think your group is intentionally avoiding me.
(or that STAR took what was always crew's coffeehouse spot and I know how infernal it is.)
I'M SEEING PATTI LuPONE THIS AFTERNOON! I'm amazingly psyched. I'm bringing my Sweeney apron and we hope she'll sign it if we stagedoor afterwards. GLEE. so I'll use my Sweeney icon in her honor.
