PAIN

oh, my legs. oh, my hamstrings.

met with a trainer as part of my required 30 days at bally so I can cancel soon. ($5 for the first 30 days... otherwise I've as good as signed a contract paying $800somethin' for 36 months. not useful when I won't be here after the next two.)

the trainer went to lakewood two years behind me. was the only football player in choir. that was a good ol' chuckle.
for a few moments I looked at my life and his, seeing that he's earning his way, probably living on his own means and everything, while I'm still taking out loans and living at home.
but then I realized... I wouldn't want to be a trainer at Bally Fitness for the rest of my life.

That doesn't change the fact that I totally can't walk right. And stairs are out of the question (my legs buckled more than once trying to exit Bally, which is on the second floor. so glad this office has an elevator.)

Everyone's back in the office today -- Scott and Clancy, who'd been gone for all of last week or more, are back. I even had a chat with Jon in the kitchen. We talked about working out.

and now it's lunchtime! mom and I are starting a diet. she says 1500 calories on a gym day, 1200 when not. which will lose us more than a pound a week, if we stick to it. I wonder if that's safe.

workouts, diet, work, sore
