My babysitting appointment for today cancelled last night. I'm happy for Liora because she gets to go to the opera. However, this means $40 less for me. But this does mean my night is free, and I've heard the Dubs show in Vail is also just that -- free. However, I've been forbidden to go to that, but as I asked, the answer of decline came in the form of a list of the four things I had to do today, with the implication that there were other items unrecalled to be added to the end of the .
Application to the shoe store (because they're really going to hire someone for a MONTH.)
Call the temp agency to bug them again that I want work I was pointed to the one downtown, and now I have Four Whole Days of working from 6-10am the week after next. Eh, it'll be $160. YAY money!
Call National Merit people and ask WTF's going on with this "my scholarship may be cancelled if I don't tell them about studying abroad" business
Exchange the too-small Birks
Return the rented RenFest costume piece I never used
Clean my room, reorganize/throw out old CDs and cases.
I have found my OLD-SCHOOL CDs like Ace of Base, Chumbawamba, The Saint, Matrix, and Batman Forever soundtracks, which makes me squeal. Currently listening to Ace of Base Chumbawamba. HAHAHAHAHA.
I wonder if I can go if I find someone else to come with, and do all those things before the afternoon.
PT this morning was good. And, um, I'm getting over myself. I got back on the erg and it felt nice... although I had to pay attention to my knee position the whole time. I should probably email Ellen and tell her that the knee that bugged me in March, that she wrote off to sleeping on it wrong, actually was a problem, and is now being worked on.
You know, they say cats lower your blood pressure. That's all well and good, but I think they mean... sane cats. Or at least calm ones. Hyperactive schizophrenic kitten-minded adolescents who never sleep and always want to play and make noise and bang against doors and be paid attention to.... THOSE cause stress.
on the plus side, we had lots of rain again last night, and today is cool and cloudcovered.
