Yay! I can "officially" listen to Christmas music today! (Actually, I've already been listening to Christmas music for a whole month. Just ask Kaleb:) I must confess that I'm a closet Big Band Swing Christmas music nut! And I was listening to "Sleigh Ride" tonight, and I just starting thinking how it would be so wonderful to go on a real sleigh ride in the snow!
Angie Gingrich is engaged! Yeah, I found out at midnight last night and immediately called Tjaden; she came over at 2 a.m. and we slept for like, 5 hours, before getting up at 7 to go over and bounce on Angie. So we pulled into the Gingrich clan's driveway about 7:30, only the house was dark and the doors were locked. So we listened to the first Christmas carols of the year in J.T.'s car, until Ross and Nancy woke up a little before eight. Obviously they were a little shocked and alarmed to see two people sitting in a car in their drive at 8 am on Thanksgiving morning. So we bounded on in, but Ang wasn't even there. Bummer. But we stayed and and had an awesome talk with Nanc and Ross for like two hours before I left so I could attend Thanksgiving church services with my grandma. Only I never made it to church:) Ah well, you win some and you lose some. Well, this girl's gonna go catch some zzz's before I have to be at Wood's at 8 in the morning.
