(no subject)
I went back home to the desert for a few days and I stayed at my moms house while her and her husband were out of town. It was a mini vacation you could say and it was so relaxing being by myself. I feel like I'm always surrounded by people and I can never be by myself even when I'm in my room alone. At the moment I feel just fine but it's odd since I've never felt this way before so we'll see if it comes back or not.
Oh and I finally saw snow fall! As I was leaving my moms house (and remember she lives in the desert) there were little snowflakes the size of half a pea falling all around me. They're weren't very big but wow, I was ecstatic! As I continued down the road out onto the freeway the snowflakes grew in size enough that they stuck to my wind shield and I felt like I was driving in a real snow storm. I pulled over to get some coffee about 40 minutes after being on the road and there was snow/ice on my truck.
I imagine some of you think I'm crazy but I've only gone to the snow a handful of times in my life so this was truly amazing to me and I couldn't help but smile while I was driving!
I took a shift tonight at Starbucks because my Asst. Manager wanted the night off to spend with her boyfriend. I said, sure why not....I can just record Lost and watch it when I get home. I had a few friends texting me with, "OMG! Are you watching this?" or "Wow this is so crazy!" so I couldn't wait to get home and turn it on. Yeah, well our DVR did NOT record it!!! This is the 3rd time it hasn't recorded a show and I was beyond irritated so I told my roommate that she has to call our cable company tomorrow to see whats going on with the DVR.
Ahhhh, and I won't be able to watch it until Monday because I'll be on a road trip with a few friends this weekend...at least I know it was a great episode right?!
Alright, I'm off to pack....as garfeimao mentioned, it's 1/2 Off All Chocolate Day tomorrow so have fun everyone!
