HAPPY NEW YEAR~~

I can't believe it's been so long since my last entry. 0_0 Time really flies. How is everybody? Are you all well and alive? Do you still even bother to read this? XDD

Anyway. I've been working so much I feel like I have super powers or something. It's rather strange to feel both tired and energized simultaneously. In other words, I haven't drawn as much as I would've liked to. A lot of things have happened since my last post. I wish I have time or space to share but I'm sure it'll just bore you. But the highlight of it all is the moment I discovered Coles BBQ Chicken. *Q* Yeah it doesn't take much to make my day.. or month or year.

On to the art then. That's what this waste of a journal is for.

Warning: This entry contains gore, shibari and badly drawn artwork. Be afraid! I also adore kittens, so there's some of that kind of butchery too....

I haven't been able to get used to the opacity filter on Tegaki. Don't think I ever will. ;_;

The following series of pictures is meant to be for some silly story I concocted as I drew them. I haven't finished it because I'm a bit frightened of some scenes I've planned. Not yet ready for the brave new world.

A one year old recently orphaned tiger cub who had just made his first kill. He was so hungry he tore into his prey without reserve. Still a messy eater, he's going to need a bath soon.

For now everything's quite peachy for the cub, but as his curiosity takes him into unfamiliar territories things will take a turn for the ugly when he confronts an adult leopard and a group of hungry wolves.

Our tiger cub has managed to kill a deer! But while he was digging into his meal, he hears something approaching. Alarmed, he sits up and watches the horizon. But the food's getting cold!
Quick- hide your feast, silly cat.

And so our beloved tiger cub's adventure continued happily.... lalalala...

... until one sunny afternoon when he fell into a pond. Catching fish is harder than it seems, young cub, especially when the light is bad.

But all is not lost for the little one! A passing leopard heard the commotion, and thinking it was a drowning dinner, rushed to the scene. But what he dragged thrashing and howling out of the water was no juicy antelope - but a sodden juvenile tiger who just won't stop hissing.

After a while, the cub calmed down and looked upon his rescuer with a perplexed expression. He wasn't sure what to think of this large spotted creature who didn't look very tasty. And it was not afraid of him - how peculiar! Further investigation was warranted.

But on an empty stomach and shivering with cold, the cub couldn't afford to hunt again soon, so he followed the strange spotted creature in hope that soon there would be very spotty food.

Xmas cards... lol

Tis all for now~ 0_0

Hope you all have a wonderful and eventful 2009! =D =D =D
