I saw
mikochan_noda's meme with the lyrics and decided to play around with it. At the moment, I only have five songs done, but I'll do more. The lyrics are from any part of the song but the stories relate to them (well, for a few of them) so that might help in figuring them out.
Googling the lyrics is for n00bs.
Have fun!
i’m the devil / i love metal / check this riff is fucking tasty
“We challenge you to a rock off,” the self-proclaimed leader of the awesome band Team Seven declared. Naruto straightened up, trying to stand as tall as the devil but failed. “Give us one chance to rock your socks off.”
“…fuck!” the devil roared. “FUCK! FUCK! The Demon Code prevents me from declining a rock off challenge.” He gave them a dirty look, clearly displeased with the challenge. “What are your terms? What’s the catch?”
“If we win,” Naruto began thoughtfully, “you must take your sorry ass back to hell.” He paused and rubbed his chin before grinning. “And also you will have to pay our rent.”
“And what if I win?”
Naruto showed no fear in the face of the devil in all his rocking glory. “Then you can take Sakura back to hell-”
“WHAT?” she shrieked. Sakura turned to him with angry eyes and began hitting him with her drumsticks. This was his fault to begin with. Well, him and Sasuke, to be fair. She was the drummer, was the point, and had no part in this Pick of Destiny bullshit. “Did you just offer me up to the devil?”
“Trust me, Sakura,” he said, not even looking at her. “It’s the only way.”
Sasuke rolled his eyes. “What the fuck are you talking about, dobe?”
“No deal,” the demon interrupted. He eyed Sasuke up and down and licked his lips with his forked tongue. “I want that one,” he said with a smirk and clawed finger pointing at Sasuke.
Sakura stood in front of Sasuke and held her arms open. “No deal!”
The devil sneered at her and glanced at Naruto. He frowned thoughtfully, scrutinizing him from head to toe, oblivious to how violated Naruto was feeling.
“Then that one,” the devil said to Sakura, now pointing at Naruto.
At Naruto’s frantic protests, Sakura hit him once again and smiled at the devil. “Deal.”
it’s not fair and it’s really not okay / it’s really not okay
“So I’m going to be honest with you, Sakura-chan,” Kakashi began calmly. Too calmly. Much too calmly for someone who was sitting naked in her bed with only her pillow - the one she liked to snuggle up to at night - to cover his private parts since she took the blanket for herself. Kakashi smiled his no-need-to-worry smile and scratched the back of his head, hoping that the familiar gestures would get some kind of reaction from her. Impassive didn’t suit Sakura Haruno. “I don’t remember, well, anything.”
Sakura nodded. “I see.”
“Indeed.” Kakashi scanned the room and found his clothes scattered about. Lovely. “Though given my current state of dress, I can only assume-”
“It sucked.”
Her interruption made him pause. ‘Sucked’ was never something a woman said to him the morning after unless in combination with a certain body part. What the heck was going on? Clearing his throat, Kakashi raised an eyebrow at her. “Pardon me?”
“Last night,” she explained dryly. Her irritated expression didn’t make him feel any better. “It sucked for me and it’s not okay. It’s really not okay.”
Kakashi’s face faltered. “You mean… you mean you didn’t-”
“Like it? Scream? Finish?” Sakura supplied. She smiled snidely. “No.”
“…I see.”
She snorted. “Indeed.”
all my girlfriends are breaking up with me / and all my good friends / yeah, they’re selling me out
Most of us feel bad for him.
How could we not? His girlfriend was cheating on him with his best friend. His best friend. They’ve known each other since childhood and here comes some girl Naruto met in high school, somehow breaking a cold bastard like Sasuke and getting him to betray Naruto like that.
She seriously had to be hot shit to do that.
...which she was. In my opinion, at least.
(Hey, this whole situation could have been avoided had she chosen me at that party Ino had back in eleventh grade. Naruto and I were both trying to get her, but... well, I lost. Whatever.)
But yeah.
Naruto.
I know I feel bad for him. Ino finds the situation funny and actually encourages the cheating like the psycho bitch she is. Shikamaru seems amused, but I’m sure he pities Naruto at the same time. Neji and Tenten are too into to each other to give a flying fuck about Naruto, but I’m sure there’s an ounce of sympathy somewhere. Well, for Tenten at least. I’m not sure about Neji. I mean he’s Neji.
Oh, that poor bastard.
“They aren’t even trying to cover it up anymore,” Ino says when Sasuke and Sakura rejoin the party. The buttons on Sasuke’s shirt are mismatched and Sakura’s dress is rumpled. Sakura just walks away from him, going to the keg and getting herself a drink. While she starts some conversation with some girl with fine legs, Sasuke approaches us.
“Where were you?” I ask with fake concern. Does Sasuke know we know? I have no clue. But would he care if we knew?
…probably not.
He shrugs. “Where’s the idiot?”
Ino smiles. She isn’t the most subtle of bitches, that moron. “Probably with Sakura,” she says sweetly. Then she dons a confused look. “But then again, where is Sakura?”
I nod. Might as well play along, right? “I haven’t seen her all night.” I turn to Sasuke. “Have you?”
He just stares at us for a bit. Then he says, “No.”
“They’re probably in Temari’s room,” Ino muses, looking directly at Sasuke.
But Sasuke, ever the cool bastard, only nods. “Probably.”
please excuse me / i’m not thinking clear / it must just be stress
“Just stop talking about it,” Sakura ordered tersely. She didn’t meet his eyes, keeping them stuck on the collar of his vest instead.
Sasuke’s eyes narrowed at her words. “I-”
“It was an accident,” she said. She was shaking her head as if trying to convince herself as well. “An accident,” she repeated. Sakura nodded and finally met his eyes. “It was-”
“An accident,” he concluded mockingly. “Yes. So I’ve heard.” He almost smirked at how easily his words riled her up. “You’re lying.”
There was a flush on her cheeks, quite likely a result of her frustration. “I was drunk. I didn’t mean it.”
“You kissed me. And you said you love me.”
“I was drunk and I didn’t mean it.” Sakura glared at him and took a small step back, feeling uncomfortable under his smouldering eyes. It hit too close to home and reminded her of their proximity when she stupidly uttered those three words and all he could do was stare at her before she ran away. “I didn’t mean it,” she repeated, this time a bit more subdued - like she meant it.
“You’re lying.”
“You didn’t say anything,” she pointed out quietly. “You…” Sakura looked away and shook her head in self-disgust. “You just stood there. Silent. So I don’t see why you care.”
When she tried to take another step away to pulled her into his arms. “I do.”
so you think you can love me and leave me to die
He thought she’d be crying at the least. She was Sakura - the annoying girl who followed him around and would do whatever he asked. The one who loved him. That Sakura. She should’ve been clutching him to her chest and sobbing hysterically and telling him he couldn’t die. Hell, she shouldn’t have poisoned him in the first place.
That conniving little bitch. Who would’ve thought she’d play the role of kunoichi so well?
He tries to glare at her but finds his vision blurring.
“It fucks with your senses,” she explains, hearing his unvoiced question. “You’ll probably start smelling roses soon or something.”
Sasuke snorts. He tries to push back into the stone wall behind him to see what the jagged rocks would feel like with this poison in his system. Fuck acting apathetic. He was dying.
“You must’ve left a number of people to die with this poison to know its effects so well,” he comments.
Her eyes narrow a fraction. He can’t see, but he knows the idea of murdering would cut her deeply. “I poisoned them, yes,” she replies tersely. He can hear the grim grin in her voice when she continues, “But I gave them the antidote after I observed.”
Sasuke smirks. It just comes so naturally around her, as if he wanted to impress her with whatever action made him feel so fucking smug. “Will you give me the antidote, Sakura?”
“No,” she replies. “But I’ll stay and watch.” Her smile widens. “You know, to observe so more.”
There’s no love in her voice, he muses. Or regret. Just some satisfaction.
He hears her sit down across from him and the smirk on his face fades as she watches him intently.
He’d rather she left him to die.
