Contemplating doing some non-locked entries.
Yesterday's soup turned out to be very yummy: potato leek with sorrel and bitter greens, chunky, not processed. I won't be able to duplicate it again until I find some sorrel and have overgrown lettuces. Sorrel is very tangy: I think I'm going to try to do some reading up on it over the winter. I had never used it before yesterday: it is amazing what free organic produce can do for your culinary creativity. Maybe it will become a staple green in the house, much like kale has become.
There is a neighborhood cleanup in an hour and a half, but it is raining, of course. Mmmm, picking up trash in the rain. I am pleased that we're having a neighborhood cleanup event: community involvement makes me feel good.
I've not had nearly enough coffee. The kitchen is a mess. I still need to compost and burlap my own P-Patch.
