Went to the post hospital check up Tuesday afternoon, it didn't go well at all. Blood pressure (which has been under control for a while with meds) is way up. They listened to my heart beat, didn't like what they heard, did an EKG. Pulled the other EKG's they have done over the 4 months this has been going on and compared them. Seems my EKG is now worse than it was before last weeks procedure to fix my heart beat. Did a lab work up on my blood (5 different tests) and told me I might need to go back in the hospital right then, depending on what the blood tests showed. I didn't want to sit around and since it had already been decided to change 2 of my meds and add 3 new ones I told them to call me, I was going to the drug store and get the new meds. I did and then got the call that tests results were borderline. So come back in this morning to get new blood work done and see if the numbers went up any (go to hospital right away) or went down any (going in a good direction so wait a little longer.) Went back and got tested again, results was no change (which the doctor had not thought would be a possible result.) So I go back tomorrow to be tested again. Blood pressure up even higher today so meds for that changed again.
So it's starting to look like the result of the whole week in the hospital and last weeks procedure is that I'm in a little worse shape than I was before it.
