Snowshoe It
Karl (of Extreme Things) planned an outing to Palm Springs to snowshoe hike. Yesterday, we rode a rotating tram 8500 feet into the snow-capped mountains to hike five miles through the powder. It always amuses me when we travel into the desert to visit the snow.
