the lead singer of Boston was just found dead in his home in New Hampshire. things i didn't know: he was, apparently, "the nicest guy in rock n roll". also: he's been fronting a beatles cover band since 1996, which regularly plays johnny d's in somerville, and was in fact scheduled for this weekend.

i don't even like Boston that much, but for some reason (the bottle of Dr Loosen i've just downed?) i'm very sad about this.
