1. so here is proof that the federal government does in fact consider me to be only valuable for my uterus.
2. which is clearly their attempt to blame the US's embarrassingly high infant mortality rate on "careless mothers-to-be" and hide the fact that it's really due to an inadequate healthcare system, and unequal access to said healthcare (a reality which the breakdown of the infant mortality rate indicates-- it's about twice as high for black babies as white babies)
3. why can't we have women's health care for the sake of the WOMAN, and not some theoretical fetus? why is treating a woman's health with importance not a worthy goal in and of itself? why is a woman only made worthy by having a fetus inside her?
4. will the federal government also encourage the health care system to treat men as pre-sperm-suppliers, and to expect men to be healthy for the sake of potential future progeny as well?
5. as someone on the feminist community said, i'm pre-dead too, but that doesn't mean i'm picking out my casket.
excuse me, i have to go find a man or post-pregnant woman to take care of my cat now.
