is how old I turned today. some may say it's young, others old. inside the bday card my parents gave me (which by the way will go into the collection of all the bday cards that they've given me ever since high school), my dad wrote "wow you're more than a quarter of a century! is that old? just kidding, papa." that guy is wacko... even more wacko ( Read more... )

i got a few colors that everyone already has b/c the ones i usually get are just so random. this w/e my source brought me- seedy pearl, print, electric eel, aquadisiac, sushi flower, club, trax, shroom, and one other one i can't remember ahhh!!! i got a couple lipglasses too- lure-x and pink poodle (which is major bright for me but went well w/sea me shadestick and tilt the other day) and some other lacquer or lustreglass i can't remember. i've become a closet mac hoarder. it's terrible. you see, my girl works at filene's which is equivalent to your robinson's may... we were tax free on 8/14 for some odd reason plus she had extra employee discount. so in essence, i saved a few bucks on each shadow. hey what kind of mascara and curler do you use?

i love electric eel! and i remember filene's... well filene's basement that is. i had the worst experience w/their dressing room. lol. well not really bad but i was just surprised that it was just one big room w/mirrors. lol. i didn't want to try on my stuff anymore. hahha.

mascara and eyelash curler? i use the cheap stuff. omg. remember when you pulled your eyelashes out?! ouch! but yeah, i actually just use the plastic one by maybelline or whoever makes that pink/purple eyelash curler because i'm scared of the metal ones because they look so barbaric but i borrowed my friends while we were in vegas this weekend since i didn't bring mine, and it works so much better! so i might just have to get over my fear! i heard that the Shu Uemura eyelash curler works really well. it's $16.50 at sephora. as far as mascara, i like colored ones right now so i have m.a.c. ones and ones by jane. if i really want some lashes, i opt for falsies. ;)

my girl keeps talking about electric eel and aquadisiac used together. i haven't even had time to take the make up out of the bag and play yet! what're your fave colors? i'm a big fan of beauty marked and guacamole- not together, of course ahaha ( ... )

i haven't tried either curlers but after all the good things i've heard about them. i'm going to have to pick one up the next time i go to sephora. the shiseido one is supposed to be compareable to the shu uemura since it caters to asian eyes or something like that - curls more, pinches less. omg. i just remembered that i had a dream about curling my eyes w/one of those things and it made a drastic difference. haha. see what our little convo. did! made me dream about it. lol ( ... )

i should make an entry all about my make up hahah. it's not like i'm a hardcore make up wearer either. i use the pots just b/c i get them cheaper than if i were to go to mac and buy the pans. it'd be so much more convenient as you said for traveling and such but i'm saving money so i'll have to sacrifice. how do you de-pot those things anyway? there's a trick of the trade somewhere.. it's dangerous though b/c i wouldn't wana ruin my precious e/s ahhaha ( ... )
