Not Just A Memory
Hey hey, kiddos.
Indeed, yes, we've been slow and not so steady here at four_by_four as of the last few months (though a big applause goes out to those of you who've posted when you've had a chance / inspiration!) and it is pretty much due to a lack of new material to work from.
At least on my part - when I founded the site nearly two years ago it was in order to encourage fiction, fanart and graphics as well as discussion amongst people I knew were interested in Kakashi Gaiden and also to find others who were as well. However, it's hard to encourage more than the (awesome amount of) stuff we managed to get here when you only get 6 chapters of manga to work with over 2+ years. WTF is wrong with you anime people!? didn't you know this was teh awesome and must be animated!?
The site isn't inactive, it isn't closed, and I confirm new memberships usually within a day of their application. We're still here, hardly anyone has removed themselves fromm the comm. and there's a wealth of stuff on the site. It's an archive of awesome, and we're waiting for more. We've got 106 active members - please don't be shy about posting. This is your community, that's why you joined.
Once exams have passed I hope to announce some new ideas for the site - but in the meantime please post your graphics, links, ideas, art & fics for us so long as they're in our stipulated rules.
