An Open Letter

Dear Constable

During your line of work, I assume you would meet a lot of people. I also make the assumption that you are not the only constable on duty in this fair town of mine. May I ask why it is the case that we have the habit of meeting each other on such a regular occurance that I find it a little unnerving? For it was you that has breathtested me 3 times, booked me twice and arrested me for disturbing the peace last New Years Eve.

Although I think that in another life we would be friends, I just can't see myself doing that in this life when your presence is usually accompanied with a penalty of some form. I do however like you and our intertwining relationship we are forming and how this acknowledgement isn't a one way street. I'm not sure if you remembering me is a good thing but I'll assume so since you knocked that 16km/h off my speed so I could keep my licence. Thanks.

Regards,

Four2Seven
