This is adorable. A very nice insight on Burt, and his appreciation of the simple things that provide great joy.

I ran across Family Dinner earlier today, fell in love with it, and then immediately decided to read all of your Glee stories, which I've been doing since. Definitely a wonderful decision ... I love how you write from Burt's perspective! And I love how casually Burt accepts that there are 25 people spread out sleeping in his home that Sunday morning without blinking, and just wakes Kurt up and treats it all like a normal morning!

Thank you so much! So I should admit that in this case, I was totally Kurt in high school, inviting all my friends over for sleepovers. And my mom was just like Burt, always ready to pick her way around the sleeping teenagers and then feed them when they finally woke up. It was awesome, which is how I always think of Burt!
