1.What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? Moved states because I could; joined FF, TSFF, and LJ; wrote a play of sorts; went on a sleigh ride, shoveled snow.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Not really - I haven't written every day or even most days. Will try again this year. Also, that whole lame exercising thing...
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? A friend back in Music City. Two more special ones coming in February and June!
4. Did anyone close to you die? The fathers of two of my closest friends.
5. What countries did you visit? None this year - too busy moving.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? Perseverance, especially around editing.
7. What date(s) from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Sept. 1 - reconnected with an old friend I hadn't seen in 12 years.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Pulling off the play w/in a play for youth sunday.
9. What was your biggest failure? I'm not editing the big one yet...
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury? Kidney stones, of all things. That really sucked.
11. What was the best thing you bought? A new house.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? My sister's - she's the nicest person I know.

25. What was the best book you read? Prepare yourselves for a novel! As of this moment, I've read 49 books this year. Deathly Hallows was the most significant, most satisfying, and yet bittersweet read of the year, of course. Pride and Prejudice, which I had never read before, was the most impressive and beautifully crafted. The Last Summer (of You and Me) by Ann Brashares made me cry the most, in a good way. The Big House by George Howe Colt was the most interesting. Rose in Bloom by Louisa May Alcott was the best walk down memory lane. Madam Secretary by Madeleine Albright was the most informative. And Reading Like a Writer by Francine Prose, which I will finish today, will change my writing the most. How was that? lol
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? Almost Amy is up there, but I really think it was Regina Spektor.
27. What did you want to get? A new laptop.

35. Who did you miss? My grandmother. Every moment, but especially at Christmas.
