Horror Hotel Meme

Welcome to the King Hotel, we do so hope you enjoy your stay. You may not check out, but we assure you that you will never forget your stay.

As this is a horror-themed meme, this post could potentially contain triggering material in the replies. Proceed with caution.

Rules:

1. Roll with the number generator found here. That number is your scenario.
2. Post as your character with your character's name/canon and the number in the comment header, and set up the scenario.
3. Other people will reply to you, (optionally) rolling to establish their relationship to you.
4. Tag around and have fun!
5. If things start to go beyond your comfort zone, please communicate this clearly.
7. Monsters and creepy events can be NPC'd by both of you.

Scenarios:

1. Creepy Kids: Kids. You know the sort. They stare at you in the hallway as you're putting your luggage up, wander the hotel, as you eat, whatever. But they're likely not what they seem. Especially with how that one kid keeps showing up where they shouldn't...

2. Strange Noises: You're settling into your nice, plush room for the night. But then you start to hear something. Scratches, wails, moans that don't relate to certain bedroom activities, footsteps. Something. It doesn't belong, and it doesn't seem right. Worse: it sounds like it's coming from in your suite, or in the walls of your suite, depending on the noise. ...Maybe you should have taken that flickering vacancy sign as a sign.

3. Car Trouble: Your car just broke down, or it's out of gas or some other not-easily-fixed problem. Great. Well, luckily, you stopped right in front of this conveniently placed hotel! You can stay the night and call for a tow in the morning. Now, why are there so many broken down cars around it?

4. Conveniently Locked Door: There's a door in your room. It supposedly connects to the one off yours. Now, maybe you're curious, or maybe something rolled under the door and you need it, but now you need it open. But usually, doors are locked for a reason...

5. Don't Turn Off The Lights: For some reason, that jittery host has told you not to turn out the lights. Never turn out the lights. But you really need to sleep, and it's kinda hard to do that with the overhead lights on. Certainly nothing bad will happen?

Relationships:
(Feel free to wing it and choose other relationships, or use canon/in-game relationships.)

1. Roommates: There are no other rooms in the hotel. You've been stranded together in the same room. You may be strangers, but you're gonna have to watch each others' backs.

2. Friends: You were on a road trip together. Now you're here for the night. But that's cool. At least you can trust each other. Right?

3. Lovers: This is supposed to be your romantic weekend together! But it's probably about to go horribly wrong, since you're staying here. Maybe you should have sprung for that honeymoon suite at that other hotel.

4. Parent/Child: You're on vacation with your parent, or your kid. Whichever. But this isn't exactly where you wanted to stay. Let's hope your familiar bonds can get you through your stay.

5. Siblings: You and your sibling decided to stop here on some sort of cross-country trip. But it's not the kind of bonding you were looking for. Do you think your parents will be angry if your siblings dies in a freak accident involving a monster?

6. Killer/Monster: This person right here? Yeah. You're in danger. They aren't what they seem. They have a long track record for murder and other nefarious deeds. Good luck, you'll likely need it.

The scenarios are obviously just precursors and you get to have fun with what actually happens. Keep in mind that this is meant to be fun, while also playing with horror scenarios. Threads can be either prose or comment spam, as the parties involved desire.

Meme ganked from somewhere. I forget where, apologies.
