IC mistletoe time!
Credit where credit's due: I stole borrowed this idea from the Shoebox Project.
Mistletoe! Everywhere! Especially around the fountain, where the glitter is all white and sparklier than usual. Someone has trucked in fir trees and set them up in the courtyard, and there's mistletoe in them, too, nestling amid the tinsel and fake snow. Music relating to various winter-time holidays is being piped in from somewhere.
But this mistletoe is not normal. It's enchanted, can talk, and will heckle people within range until they kiss. A friendly peck on the cheek will calm it down, though it can certainly grumble about that if you like. >D
So! Post with your character, and watch him or her gleefully embrace, try to wriggle out of, or anything beyond or between, having to get into the holiday spirit with others.
ETA: Note: You can pull or tear (or shoot, haha) the mistletoe down if you're tall or violent enough, but you have to incapacitate it to stop it talking. Basically, whatever you think is funniest is fine!
