so, wait... if Korea doesnt obey Bush's people and continue arms talks, the US might retaliate by cracking down on "north korean shipments af drugs, counterfit money, and arms"? sometimes I get confused. I mean, I know that at some point you have to take what you can get, but havent we been more hurt so far by arms shipments to our enemies than nuclear weapons? I mean, yeah, negotiate away, but if I were North Korea I would be pissed that we were trying to get them to stop producing nuclear weapons, because am I living in the 50's or dont we have, like, a lot of nuclear weapons? and actually, don't we also provide arms to other countries all the time? so, are we arguing for a safer world or for a new cold war? we dont trust other countries with nuclear weapons, but its ok for us to have them? I guess it makes sense, I mean, if you get into a gun fight you're gonna hope that your gunn is better, but we arent in a gun fight with Korea yet. I guess I'm just not all that scared of nuclear weapons, I'm more afraid of war, because a lot of people die and a lot of other people are severly scarred by the war. HELLO!!! tenth grade, all quiet on the western front! he was scarred AND he died. well. I dont actually know. I'm not an expert. and maybe the issue is that I just don't understand the complexities of the political genious of Bush and all his croonies. eh.
