Mars has attacked.
Tuesday I had to try to run a job on a machine that has seen better days (or decades), the job use to run ok 10 years ago, but this machine is not one of the big money makes, so it do’s not get well maintained, and now stuck in a noisy part of the shop.
After 6 hours I no longer had sharp tooling to do the finishing cut on the steel (more is on order)
I had a migraine and was dizzy, so I went home.
Wednesday still had a migraine if I try constraining, or in a bright room, was not going to try and drive, called in sick.
With the fog I’m needing the air filter on ( the Air Quality Index is only 72 and that should not be trouble), and it would have ben a long dive home, so maybe it’s a good thing I stayed home.
I did get to listen to War-of-the-worlds as it was on the radio 75 years ago. My mother told me that my grand father worked at a gas-station at the time, he always listened to the radio show so he know it was just a play, but a lot of the people buying gas were panicked.
