because it was starting to get really creepy.
okay it was always creepy, but it got creepier as the week went on.
and i'm kind of hungry but i don't want to leave my room until that stuff is done.

[Not that John would refuse it if it was some kind of gross bird. Food is food, and he can't exactly die of food poisoning anymore.]

[Oh well, no use worrying about it now. It's not like anyone is going to come arrest them. Plus the bird is already dead, it would just be a waste.

John takes the spoon and tries to eat the cooked bird with it. It's a little difficult, since spoons lack stabbing action, but he manages after a couple tries. He has to admit, it doesn't taste too bad.]
