I received this old Agfa folder with exposed roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan from LA
The film is old, the camera is older.
Film window rusted all over; sure it will scratch the film.
I developed it in cold Dektol.
Never used it since then, switched to HC-110, but this one came out ok for 40+ year old film.
This is a first frame.
Film was sitting close to the lens and traces of radioactivity in camera's glass over the years produced this halo.
Somebody put the kids on the warm hood of his/her Ford station wagon.
Car is from mid-60s. License plate says "Utah".
Thsi is a fragment of the previous frame.
Store name is barely readable: Perschon Wallpaper Co.
I have thrown my google net and it came back with this:
Perschon's Paint & Decorating Center
2291 Murray Holladay Rd
Salt Lake City, UT 84117
Salt Lake City. Mormon country.
Film is scratched badly -- means it was already rusty at the time of the exposure.
Here is the old man with a bag. Was it once his camera?
Him again.
There is something behind it, some story, not recoverable.
