[hi everyone, this is Flynn on your screen right now. Might be difficult to guess because his Dreamberry is angled in a way that obscures everything but his upper body and his hands, which gesture animatedly as he speaks:]
Citizens of Somarium! Hi. Flynn here. I have two questions... First, has anyone figured out how to purge the EVIL from these AC units? Sub-zero temperature I can deal with, but a couple of hours ago mine started howling like a--
[an odd noise erupts from somewhere to the right: WHOODRR WHOODRR WHOODRR
Flynn sighs and gets up, and for the first time you might notice that he has a comforter wrapped firmly about his body]
--like that. Shit. Hang on.
[the pile of blankets that is Flynn goes to the left of the screen first, makes a couple of heaving noises, and then comes back into view for a brief second, dragging something. The mattress of his bed. It is clear where this is going, right?
When the noise is sufficiently muted, Flynn's blanketed torso comes back on, hands clasped resolutely]
Well! Guess I'm sleeping on the couch later. This day just keeps getting better and better. I could actually camp out in the forest but this is one of those times I'd rather stay in. [he sniffs and reaches out to reposition the screen.
And there's the handsome mug you all know and love, smiling tentatively into the camera. He has seen better days, if the reddish nose, tired eyes and constant sniffling are any indication.]
Which brings me to my next question. Anyone got any quick-fix remedies for the common cold? Medicine? Food? Love? [his grin has some of his old mischief, though that is quickly ruined by another pathetic sniff. It is clear he is feeling miserable, but he puts on yet another smile. This cold is not winning one over Flynn Rider, no sir] Bring it over if you're free. I'm holed up in one of the Enveria apartments.
But seriously? Getting the AC to shut up will be more than awesome.
