Well I'm HOMEEEEEEEEE. I'm both glad and sad. Glad because there is nothing like being in your own bed. But I already miss my sister and her boyfriend. And the puppies and Arizona. I got a sweet email from her boyfriend today (caps are all his):
HEY THERE, WE ALL MISS YOU ALREADY. IN FACT, AS SOON AS WE GOT HOME IT WAS ALL QUIET. IT WAS WEIRD. I HOPE YOU KNOW YOU CAN COME BACK ANYTIME YOU WANT. I WISH SPRING TRAINING WAS YEAR ROUND. NEXT YEAR WILL BE EVEN BETTER. I LIKE GOING EARLY DURING THE SEASON, BECAUSE TOWARDS THE END OF IT, IT STARTS GETTING REALLY CROWDED. I WENT ON LINE TO TRY TO SCORE A’S GIANTS FOR SUNDAY OR MONDAY, AND ALL THEY HAD WERE STANDING ONLY….F-THAT. O’WELL. HAVE A GOOD DAY.
AWWW!!
My last two days were great. I went on the hunt for Jason Hart on Monday as as you can tell from my previous entry, I was successful :) As always, he was totally sweet. Every time I talk to him it is a treat. It was a minor league game and I ended up sitting with all these Royals minor leaguers. It was so funny just to be sitting with all of them! The drive to Surprise from Tempe is way to far and boring. Thank god for cell phones and Lauren's ability to listen to me for an hour!
Tuesday I decided to hit another A's game in Peoria. Now, I hadn't bought tickets ahead for any game I went to and I was able to get good seats. Not only when it was just me, but when there were two or three of us. Not so in Peoria. The closest single seat I could get was in the bleachers. In row TEN. Yeah, WTF? I don't see how there is any possible way there were NO single seats anywhere else. Well, needless to say, I never even visited my seat. I just stood up the whole time. Pregame was fun. I think Peoria is one of the best places for that. It seems that everyone who knew one of the players stood next to me. Good for me :)
Ok, so as a wrap up, I have two new favorite guys. Charles Thomas who is actually from really close to here. He has an amazing smile and is REALLY nice. Huston Street who is also super nice. He seemed to be awed by all the attention he was getting. But he talks really well with the fans. And I was thrilled to get to see him pitch TWICE!
PHOTO WHORE TIME!
Can I mention that I LOVE my new camera? This is my first time using it in a baseball situation. I'm VERY happy with it. Not so much at the basketball game, but baseball rocks! Ready for over 700 photos?!?!
