YAY for long weekends.
I only worked half a day on Friday, which was nice. I got my trip to the gym out early. I came home and did nothing. It was great :D. I only went to the gym and grocery store today, so I was pretty lazy today also. I love it too.
The OC is just EVIL! I can't believe how quick it drew me in. I shouldn't be surprised. TV on DVD in general is evil as now I'm obsessed with a bunch of new shows. Oz, Six Feet Under, The OC. Next on my queue is The Sopranos, which I've actually watched before. Well, two seasons at least. I haven't seen it in years though, so I'm starting over. Actually, I hope I get Oz season 4 before The Sopranos. Cause Oz = LOVE.
I did do my taxes yesterday. Thank you jobs for getting me my W-2's early for once. Both jobs came on the same day. That was kinda odd. But I'm getting $809 back from federal which is NICEEEEEEEE. That's more than I've ever gotten back. I did make less this year than last. Way less overtime this year with the state take over. Plus I didn't work those 70 hour, two job weeks like I did during xmas last year.
Now that I have money coming my way, I can plan out my vacation to Arizona. I called my sister and I think I'm going to go for 10 days. March 5 - 15th. I actually have two weeks off from work, but don't think I will go for that long. I'm not positive yet though. I won't have to pay for a hotel for once, but I will have to rent a car, and since I won't be going with anyone, I'll have to pay full price. I did some looking and for 10 days it was like $400. That can't be right. I'll have to look more. I'm sure I can get a union discount or something.
I finally get paid on Monday. Six weeks seems like a lifetime. I'm going to get a haircut, do my laundry and get a pedicure. All the things I couldn't do without any money. I think I might buy Las Vegas on DVD too. We will have to see. I guess since I have my tax money to look forward to, I can splurge a little more than usual. I'll be finally getting my MP3 players as well. My sister is going to be sending me a gift card for my birthday to apply to it (cause she's SO not slick and I know what she's doing). So with the gift card I already have and hers, I should only have to kick in like $75 or so. WOOT.
