Had a really good weekend with the fella. We spent saturday buying the last gifts for his family. Had a wander in the market, meandered around manchester and came home laden with bags. These gifts have been wrapped, bowed and ribboned.
It felt nice & Christmassy and felt very loved up. That was in contrast to some people who we saw getting rather stressed & snappy. Rich had to wait outside a changing room with a guy whos missus had dragged him to 4 cities to find a pair of boots and Jeans. I get annoyed having to visit 4 shops when it comes to clothes so my heart went out to him.
Tree is looking fab and has presents a plenty below, two are even mine :)
I am making dessert at Chez Polley this year and have decided on a chocolate tart with berries and brandy cream and choc covered fruit on xmas eve (as inspired by the xmas market)
I have one last works do next weds, gluewhein day and seeing a few local mates and I shall be ready to fly for Christmas.
Bring on the christmas food specials!
