This weekend I went to the above game, whether it be that I wasnt as prepared as I wanted to be or the fact I havent spent a weekend in my own home for a month I just wasnt expecting to have fun.....but I did.
The runners kept NPCs on hand to keep the activity going and to make sure everyone had somthing to do in there areas on most occasions.
The fighting was great as because everything counted as a single and the combat was quite lethal there wasnt much calling when fighting and people made a real effort to fight in the style of the setting so it was good to watch even for non combats like me.
I think one of the main reasons I enjoyed it and this goes for any game, the people were sound, without that I think any game could flag but the people really wanted to be there and were really freindly.
I think the most suprising part was that they managed to keep people busy til 1am IC, at most games I have been to recently people tend to start to flag by midnight and mentally count down to time out.
I do plan to go again in June, even if IC am I crapping it as I have a rather large task ahead which she doesnt think she is in any way capable of pulling off.
