Really good first day
For once I really enjoyed my first day at a new job, Upon arrival there was a folder for me with everything I need in, they had me a desk which was all set up for me and I was already on all the databases I will use and they had stocked the desk with tons of new stationary and a calender.
This may seem normal to most but the last few firms I have worked at were such fucktards I would have been lucky to get any of the above within a year.
Plus's
*I am now on flexi time, as long as you dont take the piss and try and carry too many hours over.
*Its a dress down office so trainers all the way.
*the people are lovely
*so close to the theatre
Downsides
*bit of a trek from piccadiliy, but this may help me shift laziness
*trying to navigate windows when its all in german, I am doing this by using the icon pictures and when an error message comes up, shout to someone else, but now I know backpage is zucker, or some such word.
*Having to pronounce our clients companys names and feeling daft.
I do hope it all sinks in soon, but I hope it does, I really should stop blagging jobs I am not qualified for but then NIG didnt realise for two years and even then it wasnt my work but an end of contract.
