That sounds familiar, it took us ages to get the measurements at our scan as the scamp wouldn't stay still.

We didn't mind as it gave us extra time watching him wriggle while the sonographer struggled to measure him! Luckily normal-sized head (I was worried as K has a big hat size). Looks like he'll be fairly tall, which we expected as we're both above average height.

Rich has a massive head that means we can only get him hats from certain places and abroad. She didn't mention ours had a big head. It is nice to have a good amount of time to see things. Seeing the flaps of the heart chamber pump was so strange and exciting

I looked at the report in my green notes folder and it had HC (head circumference) spot on average AC (abdomen circumference I think) also average, FL (femur length) above average. Yeah, seeing the heartbeat was cool. Also got to see a tiny footprint while he was wriggling about. V glad not to be saying "it" any more when talking about the baby, that felt weird.

I everything ready now for peanut's arrival? What hospital are you going to?

As ready as I think we are gonna get. Get the impression no one is ever fully ready.

Hopefully we will be at St Marys Birth Centre at Salford Royal. If I have to be induced in two weeks I'm going to St Marys Manchester
