Hmm... now to begin my tagging adventure.
1. I drive a Vespa LX150 scooter, When i bought it in 2006, i knew i was the only one in my town that had a scooter. Well even just a vespa. Simply because i was working a 2 part time jobs and the price of gas was killing me with my truck. The beast has 2 twenty gallon tank and the price to fill it up was upwards of 80 to 150 bucks.
Same make & year just different color.
So i downsized. As of right now my little town is filled with other scooters, mostly honda's and other different makes. The Vespa is still a rarity but not as rare as when i first bought mine. There are now 5 Vespa's in town. One red, one black, one green, and 2 silvers ( One of which is mine) .
2. I own and write on more than just one blog. Which i won't post links to. Simply because i love to design things but also to vent anonymously on some. One of which i consider an extension of my real life journal. Others just showcase the geekette in me. I'm always trying new codes and scripts, usually that will kill the thing so i have to rebuild. My myspace/facebook blog are used to keep me in contact with real life friends. and my LJ is so i can chill and listen to my online friends who allow me to indulge in the geekette me. I love the fandoms of TV shows.
which brings me to number 3
3. I spend an unnatural amount of time online. Seriously. Lets say i get up at 7 am to check email, then go to work where i check more emails. Since my job involves a video system called IP-video (internet protocol video) and IVC (interactive video conferencing). I'm online all day from 8 until lets say 11 pm, the hours vary a little but it's still a fair amount of time online. It's a little sad when the local news 'breaks' some news report that i read days ago online.
Now you are perhaps wondering how i get all my television watching for my little fandoms in between such odd hours...
4. I love Tivo and Slingmedia's Slingbox. Tivo records all my shows while im working, and Slingbox sends it out online to my little computer while im at work. LOL so yea sometimes i'll be watching TV while im working. It's been ok'd by the bosses. ( I have really cool bosses) They said that as long as all the meetings and such are up and running and that im getting things done it's cool. Sometimes we all watch the news during our lunch break.
Slingbox is cool I simply adore it. Tivo is better, dude the Pause button is the best. but I think the fast forwarding through commercials is da bomb.
5. Commericals can be funny and sad at the same time. Im such a sucker for certain commercials that i've found myself a bit over emotional. Here are a few that may or may not have press the teary eyed button.
Click to view6. The scene in Return to Me where the main character tells his dog his wife is dead... Gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME.
7. Laughed hysterically at the word Feldspar for 3 hours straight. It's not quite a really funny word but it truely amused me for a while. And can still bring out a smile if you say it right. And no there was no paint fumes. I blame it on book dust and exhaustion.
