its just my life to be that fucking close and blow it royally. might be commended at least (or so says the friendly USD letter) but i can kiss any non-midwest college goodbye. not with my grades.
on an up note i got a personal letter from U of Chi:
"Just got your postcard. It tugged at our heartstrings.

[i drew all over their reply card, and wrote them a little note about their annoyingly emo/pretentious advertising which i love/hate]
